Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader I for Mutual Fund sales.
This Middle Management role is critical for driving sales growth, requiring proven expertise in the Mutual Fund sector and leadership in acquiring Retail and HNI customers.
The leader will be primarily responsible for managing a team of Relationship Managers, coaching them to achieve aggressive sales targets, focusing on high-value products like PMS, AIF, and Private Wealth, and ensuring the highest standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Target Achievement :
- Manage a team of Relationship Managers and lead them to consistently achieve the targets assigned for acquiring both Retail and HNI customers.
- Drive sales growth by promoting the up-selling of Mutual Fund products to mapped Retail and HNI Clients.
- Focus on enhancing and upgrading the Client Net worth and achieving sales and revenue targets spread across a diversified product mix (including PMS, AIF, and Private Wealth) through team performance.
Coaching, Mentorship, and Team Development :
Coach and mentor the sales team on advanced sales techniques and product knowledge to drive target achievement.Conduct regular feedback and review sessions with the team to strategically improve business volume and New Client Acquisition.Be able to close sales calls by working closely with Relationship Managers whenever required, providing hands-on support.Client Engagement and Service Excellence :
Take proactive steps for the development of long-term relationship / association with key / potential Investors in order to generate repetitive business.Ensure the team delivers the highest level of service to clients / HNI customers, utilizing Active Listening skills to understand and address client needs.Create brand and product awareness by conceptualizing and executing events, conferences, and product sessions for Investors to maintain top-of-the-mind recall.Operational Compliance and Management :
Ensure timely flow of information internally and externally.Monitor the external communication of the team regularly to ensure compliance and professional standards are maintained.Effectively utilize Time Management skills to balance team leadership, personal closing support, and administrative Relevant experience in managing a sales team within the Financial Services or Banking industry.Education : Post-Graduate / Master's Degree (preferably in Finance, Management, or a related field).
Core Expertise : Mandatory deep knowledge of the Mutual Fund industry and associated products.
Key Skills : Proven ability in Team Handling, Mutual Fund, PMS, AIF, and Private Wealth product sales.
Leadership : Strong coaching, mentorship, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Skills :
