Compliance Executive

Job Title: Senior Executive – Compliance Location: Bengaluru Key Responsibilities & Skills 1. Core Statutory Compliance Knowledge (Must-Have) Strong hands-on experience in Indian labour laws and statutory compliance, including: - PF (Provident Fund) – ECR filing, UAN activation, withdrawals, inspections - ESIC – Registration, contribution, returns, benefits handling - PT (Professional Tax) – State-wise compliance and return filing - Statutory returns - LWF (Labour Welfare Fund) – Applicability and filings - Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and Shops & Establishments Act 2. Practical Compliance Handling - End-to-end statutory remittance and return filing - Handling statutory notices, inspections, and audits - Liaising with government departments (EPFO, ESIC, Labour Office) - Maintaining compliance calendars and ensuring adherence to statutory due dates 3. Payroll & CTC Understanding - Strong understanding of salary structures and CTC components - Knowledge of statutory deductions, including PF, ESIC, PT, and TDS - Experience in payroll processing and validation 4. Team Coordination - Coordinating with team members to ensure timely completion of compliance activities - Monitoring assigned tasks and maintaining accuracy in deliverables - Supporting junior team members whenever required 5. Client & Stakeholder Management - Handling multiple client accounts - Conducting review calls and resolving client queries - Managing escalations and ensuring SLA adherence 6. Documentation & Reporting - Preparing MIS reports - Maintaining compliance trackers - Managing audit documentation and statutory records - Supporting SOP creation and process improvement initiatives 7. System & Technical Skills - Experience with payroll/compliance software (GreytHR, Keka, Saral, etc.) - Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Validation) - Hands-on experience with EPFO, ESIC, and TRACES portals 8. Attention to Detail & Accuracy - Strong focus on accuracy and error-free statutory filings - Excellent validation and review capabilities 9. Time Management - Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively - Comfortable working under month-end and compliance timelines 10. Communication Skills - Professional email drafting - Strong client communication skills - Effective internal coordination and stakeholder management
