Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and design discussions.
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide quality metrics.
- Ensure software quality standards and best testing practices are followed.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
Required Skills :
- 5-10 years of experience in QA Automation.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of performance or security testing.
- Experience working in DevOps environments.
- ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
