Site Reliability Engineering Advisor

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Advisor to drive reliability, performance, and operational excellence across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, monitoring tools, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

- Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

- Monitor applications using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and observability tools.

- Manage cloud environments on GCP (preferably GKE).

- Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

- Drive automation and operational excellence initiatives.

- Collaborate with development and platform teams for faster issue resolution.

- Mentor engineers and promote SRE best practices.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps.

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (GKE).

- Good knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting.

- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

- Expertise in monitoring and observability tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, system reliability, and incident management.

Good to Have :

- Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL.

- Oracle or MySQL databases.

- Splunk, New Relic, VisualVM.

- Microservices architecture and networking fundamentals.

- Agile/SAFe methodologies.

- Automation experience.

Additional Responsibilities :

- Mentor and guide junior team members.

- Participate in design and code reviews.

- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
