Role Overview :

As an NLP Engineer at our Bangalore office, you will be at the forefront of developing sophisticated language models and speech processing systems that power our clients' core product offerings. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and software architects to translate complex business requirements into high-performance NLP pipelines. Your daily contributions will directly influence the accuracy and scalability of our speech-to-text and translation engines, ensuring that our solutions deliver seamless experiences for end-users across diverse linguistic landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and deploy advanced Natural Language Processing models to solve complex linguistic challenges for enterprise-scale applications.

- Optimize Neural Machine Translation (NMT) and Speech-to-Text (STT) pipelines to improve latency and accuracy in real-time production environments.

- Implement fine-tuning strategies, including LoRA, to adapt pre-trained models for domain-specific tasks, ensuring high performance with resource efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate Text-to-Speech (TTS) capabilities into existing platforms, enhancing user accessibility and engagement.

- Maintain rigorous documentation and version control standards to ensure the reproducibility and scalability of machine learning experiments.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying NLP models using PyTorch and the Hugging Face ecosystem.

- Proven ability to work with advanced sequence-to-sequence frameworks such as Fairseq for complex translation and speech tasks.

- Strong proficiency in implementing parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques like LoRA to optimize large language models.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, on-site office environment in Bangalore, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

- 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in developing and shipping production-grade NLP or speech-based solutions.
