Backend Developer - Java

Role Overview :

NeoSOFT Technologies is seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our high-impact engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications that power our enterprise-grade solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and QA specialists, to translate complex business requirements into robust technical implementations. By ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our backend systems, you will directly influence the user experience and contribute to the long-term scalability of our digital products, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of our global clientele.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs to support seamless integration between frontend interfaces and database layers.

- Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and refactoring legacy code, ensuring the platform remains resilient under heavy traffic loads.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical specifications, ensuring that every feature delivered aligns with business objectives and project timelines.

- Mentor junior developers by conducting rigorous code reviews and promoting best practices in software design, which elevates the overall quality of our engineering output.

- Integrate third-party services and cloud-based infrastructure to enhance system capabilities and provide comprehensive solutions for our end users.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem, with a proven ability to build and deploy complex microservices architectures.

- Exhibit strong proficiency in database management, specifically with SQL and NoSQL technologies, to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.

- Possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Show a high degree of adaptability in a hybrid work setup, maintaining productivity and clear communication across distributed teams in Bangalore, Chennai, or Pune.

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a track record of solving complex engineering challenges within a 5-6 year professional tenure.

- Display a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
