Role Description The Accountant at Seed Ventures is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and supporting data-informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling bank and marketplace accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close. The role also includes preparing financial statements and management reports, handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flows, and supporting budget preparation and variance analysis. The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of marketplace transactions, assist with audits and tax-related documentation, and help improve financial processes and controls in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Experience in M&A a plus, research, analysis and closing deals.
