We are seeking an experienced Senior Techno-Functional / Solution Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to drive solution design, architecture, and delivery across Finance and Supply Chain domains.
The role requires a strong blend of functional knowledge, technical acumen, and business problem-solving ability, with a focus on designing scalable and sustainable solutions beyond standard system capabilities.

1. Solution Design & Architecture :
- Lead the design of end-to-end solutions in D365 F&O across Finance (GL, AP, AR) and SCM (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management).
- Evaluate business requirements and design best-fit solutions, including :
1. Configuration
2. Extensions/customizations
3. Integrations
4. Alternative approaches where standard functionality is insufficient
- Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices, extensibility patterns, and performance standards.
- Provide architectural guidance on scalability, reusability, and governance.
2. Gap Analysis & Problem Solving :
- Conduct detailed fit-gap analysis between business requirements and standard D365 capabilities.
- Identify limitations in areas such as :
1. Dynamic pricing models
2. Trade agreement constraints
3. Complex invoicing scenarios
4. Inventory valuation and accounting treatments
- Propose innovative solutions or workarounds, including hybrid or custom approaches where necessary.
- Drive solution validation workshops with business stakeholders.
3. Functional Expertise (Finance & SCM) :
- Demonstrate strong domain expertise in :
1. Finance : General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), financial reporting
2. Supply Chain : Inventory management, costing, procurement, order fulfillment
- Design and optimize :
1. Pricing and discount models
2. Trade agreements and pricing engines
3. Invoicing processes (standard and complex scenarios)
4. Inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliation processes
- Ensure alignment with business processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
4. Technical Collaboration & Delivery :
- Collaborate closely with technical teams and developers to :
1. Design and implement customizations using extensions framework
2. Build workflows and automation processes
3. Develop integrations with external systems (APIs, middleware, data entities)
- Translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications and solution blueprints.
- Review technical designs and ensure alignment with architecture standards.
- Support code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment planning.
5. Stakeholder Management :
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders.
- Lead workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a business-friendly manner.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
6. Delivery & Implementation Leadership :
- Support or lead end-to-end implementation lifecycle :
1. Requirement gathering
2. Solution design
3. Build & configuration
4. Testing (UAT/SIT)
5. Go-live and hypercare
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and solution integrity.
