SAP TM Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Consultant with strong expertise in transportation planning, freight management, charge calculation, settlement processes, and SAP TM integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP TM solutions while working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to transportation and logistics processes.

- Configure and support SAP TM functionalities including transportation planning, execution, freight costing, and settlement.

- Configure and maintain :

1. Freight Orders (FO)

2. Forwarding Orders (FWO/FFO)

3. Freight Bookings

4. Freight Agreements

5. Freight Settlement Documents (FSD)

6. Charge Management and Cost Distribution

- Design and implement transportation planning and optimization solutions.

- Configure carrier management and freight procurement processes.

- Support freight charge calculation, accruals, billing, and settlement activities.

- Work on transportation execution, tracking, and event management processes.

- Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, integrations, and enhancements.

- Support integration with SAP modules including :

1. SAP EWM

2. SAP SD

3. SAP MM

4. SAP FI

5. SAP GTS (preferred)

- Perform system testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.

- Prepare functional specifications and support enhancement developments.

- Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvement recommendations.

Required Skills :

- 7- 10 years of SAP TM consulting experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management.

- Expertise in freight planning, transportation execution, freight costing, and settlement processes.

- Experience in SAP TM configuration and support.

- Strong understanding of transportation and logistics business processes.

- Experience working on implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.

- Knowledge of SAP EWM integration.

- Experience in Freight Charge Management and Carrier Collaboration.

- SAP TM Certification is an added advantage.

- Exposure to global transportation and supply chain operations.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
