Engineering Head - Artificial Intelligence

We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Head of Engineering (AI) with 1015 years of deep technical and leadership experience.

In this role, you will be the absolute technical owner and architect of our next-generation AI and data-driven web products.

You will bridge the gap between cutting-edge Machine Learning and robust, large-scale full-stack architecture, leading high-performing engineering teams from conceptualization to global release.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, deploy, and scale complex, large-scale data and Machine Learning models in production and ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities with core web products.

- Act as a full-stack authority, driving best practices across a multi-tier environment spanning JavaScript, Node.js, Python, and MySQL.

- Own the technical roadmap and architecture for at least two major professional-grade products, ensuring high availability, security, and performance on AWS.

- Oversee the development of robust, secure REST APIs and integration with advanced visualization libraries and database technologies.

- Lead complex engineering projects from initial conception through to successful deployment and continuous iteration.

- Accurately estimate timelines for complex engineering initiatives, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain strict accountability for deadlines.

- Implement and refine engineering processes to maximize team velocity without compromising code quality or architectural integrity.

- Champion a culture of creative engineering, design thinking, and high technical standards.

- Lead by example with strong personal values, transparency, and a collaborative mindset.

- Leverage your reputation within the broader technology community to mentor internal talent and attract top-tier engineering professionals.

Required Profile & Skills :

- 1015 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a mandatory, heavy focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

- A proven track record of 10+ years successfully building, deploying, and running complex, large-scale web or data products.

- Demonstrated experience having built at least two professional-grade products as the primary technical owner or chief architect.

- Deep understanding of Machine Learning workflows, production algorithms, and deployment pipelines.

- Advanced proficiency in Python, Node.js, and MySQL with a strong architectural grip on database tech and visualization libraries.

- High proficiency in JavaScript and modern web ecosystems in a multi-tier infrastructure.

- Expert-level familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native application patterns.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / M.S) from premier institutes.

- A strong background in competitive programming (e.g., successes in hackathons, ACM-ICPC, Codeforces, LeetCode) is highly preferred.

- An established, respected reputation within the local or global technology community.
