R&D Associate - GDC, Hygiene & Surfaces

• Candidate is expected to work in the laboratory pilot plant to carry out on the bench experiments demonstrate technical performance of product prototypes.
• He/She will work with team to develop new products or to enhance performance of existing products related to Hard surface cleaning formulations in Cif across different formats.
• He/She will lead specific aspects of the project interact with cross functional team members (SEAC, Regulatory, Patents, Processing, Regional RD, Brand, ST teams).
• He/She will work with team to build capability in the identified areas.
• Candidate is expected to use appropriate literature / patent / competition / supplier searches related to the projects.
• He/She will leverage digital tools to minimize experiments, maximize output speed up program delivery

Skills and experience

We are looking for a person with right attitude and competencies. Candidates with two to three years of experience in product development is preferred.

• Education: Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry/ Material Science with First class
• Background/Experience: Strong fundamentals in chemical engineering /or Chemistry, proficient with digital tools and data analysis
• Technical skills: Good understanding on surfactant and interfacial science, formulation design development
• Soft skills: Teamwork, multi-tasking, good communication, presentation and writing skills, Creative, Should have ability to analyze data and present data to internal team and stakeholders
• Digital: Should be proficient in word, excel, power point and should have apt to learn new Unilever digital tools (PLM, PHAROS, ELN, LIMS)
