Backend Developer - Node.js/Python

Backend:

- Python: FastAPI (Python 3.10+), Pydantic, Pandas for data processing, SQLAlchemy/ORM for DB interactions.

- Node.js: Express.js / NestJS, TypeScript, REST & GraphQL API development, async event-driven services.

- Databases & Messaging:

1. Relational: PostgreSQL, MySQL

2. NoSQL: MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis

3. Messaging/Eventing: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS, MQTT

- API Standards: OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, gRPC (nice to have), WebSockets for real-time apps.

- Authentication/Authorization: OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML integration with enterprise IdPs (Okta, Azure AD).

- Testing Frameworks: PyTest (Python), Jest/Mocha (Node.js), Postman/Newman for API testing.

- Logging/Monitoring: Structured logging (Logstash/ELK or Fluentd/EFK), integration with observability stacks (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Architecture Patterns: Microservices, 12-factor apps, API Gateway design, distributed tracing Expertise:

- Proven experience deploying workloads in AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud (OpenStack/Canonical).

- AWS:

1. EC2, ECS/EKS (container orchestration)

2. S3 (object storage), DynamoDB / RDS (databases)

3. API Gateway + Lambda (serverless APIs)

4. CloudFormation/Terraform (IaC)

5. IAM (role-based access, OIDC federation)

6. CloudWatch & X-Ray (monitoring, tracing)

- Azure:

1. Azure App Services & AKS (Kubernetes)

2. Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL

3. Azure Functions (serverless compute)

4. VNet, Application Gateway, Front Door (networking & ingress)

5. Azure AD / Managed Identity (enterprise auth)

6. Azure Monitor & Application Insights

- Cross-Cloud Skills:

1. Terraform / Pulumi for multi-cloud IaC

2. Docker & Kubernetes deployments across providers

3. Experience with private cloud (OpenStack/Canonical) for hybrid JWT session management, hardware-based security (TPM/TDX), data encryption at rest & in CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud-native observability tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
