Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture and Design Design and implement a modular orchestration layer integrating multiple PETs (TEE, MPC, FL, HE).
- End-to-End Ownership Lead the system architecture design, implementation, deployment and scaling. Own the integration with existing data exchange architectures, security data flows, trust boundaries.
- Orchestration and Integration - Integrate open-source and proprietary PET frameworks into a unified platform, addressing real-world constraints such as latency, cost, and interoperability.
- Technical Leadership and Vision Drive architectural decisions and technical direction for PET infrastructure, translating evolving research into practical system designs. Identify emerging paradigms and orchestration models within the PET community.
- Mentorship - Work cross-functionally with research, product, and infrastructure teams. Mentor junior engineers on secure system design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline
- 3 to 5 years of experience in backend systems, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
- Demonstrable experience in building systems driven by security and privacy constraints.
- Familiarity with at least a few topics from secure systems, cryptography, privacy enhancing technologies, distributed systems
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Go, Rust, or Java).
- Experience designing scalable, production-grade systems.
- Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and microservices architectures.
