DevOps Engineer - OpenShift

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in OpenShift to join our high-performing infrastructure team in Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Chennai.

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable containerized environments that serve as the backbone for our enterprise applications.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams, site reliability engineers, and product stakeholders to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless application delivery.

Your work will directly impact the reliability, security, and performance of our digital platforms, ensuring that our customers experience uninterrupted service while enabling our engineering teams to innovate at speed.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and manage robust OpenShift clusters to provide a stable and highly available foundation for microservices-based applications.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to reduce manual toil and improve deployment consistency across environments.

- Optimize CI/CD workflows by integrating container orchestration tools, enabling development teams to ship code faster with higher quality.

- Monitor system performance and security posture, proactively addressing bottlenecks to ensure optimal uptime for end-users.

- Partner with security and compliance teams to implement hardened container security policies, protecting sensitive business data and infrastructure assets.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to manage and troubleshoot large-scale OpenShift or Kubernetes environments in production settings.

- Proven expertise in designing automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD to facilitate efficient software delivery.

- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform or Ansible to maintain scalable and reproducible environments.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders.

- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a hybrid or office-based environment across our Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Chennai hubs.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and container orchestration.
