Guidewire Technical Architect

Role Overview :

As a Guidewire Technical Architect, you will serve as the primary technical authority for complex Policy Center and Billing Center implementations, steering the architectural vision for large-scale insurance transformation programs.

You will bridge the gap between high-level business requirements and robust technical execution, collaborating closely with client stakeholders, product owners, and offshore development teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, high-performance insurance solutions.

Your work will directly influence the operational efficiency of global insurers, ensuring that core systems are resilient, maintainable, and aligned with long-term digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end technical architectures for Guidewire Policy Center and Billing Center to ensure seamless alignment with complex insurance business workflows.

- Lead the technical strategy for system integrations, utilizing Webservices and XML to connect core platforms with legacy systems and third-party ecosystems.

- Mentor cross-functional engineering teams by enforcing best practices in GOSU programming and Guidewire configuration to maintain high code quality and system stability.

- Oversee complex data modeling initiatives to ensure data integrity and optimal performance across the insurance application suite.

- Partner with business stakeholders to translate abstract requirements into actionable technical roadmaps that drive measurable business outcomes.

Required Skillset :

Must Have :

- 10+ years of overall IT experience.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Policy Center & Billing Center Configuration and Integration.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Rating.

- Strong expertise in Guidewire Policy Center Cloud implementations.

- Guidewire ACE Certified (Policy Center Cloud) Mandatory.

- Experience in at least one end-to-end Guidewire greenfield implementation project.

Strong knowledge of Guidewire configuration :

- PCF / Gosu / Business Rules / Product Model / Workflows / Activities / Transactions / Jobs / Wizards

Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud integrations :

- Integration Gateway / Cloud APIs / App Events / Messaging / Web Services / Batch Processes / Plugins

- Good understanding of Java and integration frameworks.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong architectural, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in the insurance technology sector.
