Jira/Atlassian Architect

We are hiring a Jira/Atlassian expert to lead an enterprise-wide transformation and migration initiative.

This role involves working on a complex Jira and Confluence ecosystem built over 8 to 10 years and driving its cleanup, standardization, and consolidation across multiple acquired businesses.

NOTE : This is NOT a support-based Jira Admin role.

This is a high-ownership transformation and migration initiative.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assess current Atlassian landscape (projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, integrations)

- Identify duplication, inefficiencies, and technical debt

- Define standard workflows, templates, and governance models

- Lead Jira to Jira Cloud migration end-to-end

- Support Confluence to Confluence Cloud migration

- Consolidate multiple business units into a unified Atlassian ecosystem

- Clean up configurations, workflows, and automation rules

- Archive legacy projects and optimize performance

- Provide documentation and conduct training sessions

- Manage timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication

Must Have Skills :

- Proven experience in Jira Cloud migration (end-to-end)

- Strong expertise in Jira & Confluence

- Experience in Jira cleanup, governance, and standardization

- Handling large-scale Jira environments

- Strong ownership and stakeholder management

Good to Have :

- Non-Jira to Jira migration experience

- Experience with Atlassian plugins/tools
