Role Overview :
As an NFT Engineer (Testing), you will sit at the intersection of blockchain innovation and quality assurance, ensuring the integrity of decentralized assets and smart contract ecosystems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of blockchain developers, product managers, and security auditors to validate complex NFT minting processes, marketplace functionalities, and cross-chain interoperability.
Your contribution is critical in maintaining trust within the Web3 ecosystem, as you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities before they reach the mainnet, directly impacting the security and seamless experience of our global user base. This role is based in Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bangalore, offering a collaborative environment where you will help shape the future of digital ownership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and execute comprehensive test suites for smart contracts and NFT minting protocols to ensure bug-free deployment on various blockchain networks.
- Develop robust automation testing frameworks using industry-standard tools to accelerate the release cycle and maintain high-quality standards across the platform.
- Collaborate with development teams to perform rigorous unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, ensuring that marketplace features function flawlessly under high-traffic conditions.
- Conduct security-focused testing to identify potential exploits or logic flaws in NFT metadata and ownership transfer mechanisms, safeguarding user assets.
- Document detailed test plans and defect reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders, facilitating continuous improvement in the development lifecycle.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in building and maintaining automation testing frameworks for decentralized applications and blockchain-based systems.
- Strong technical understanding of NFT standards, smart contract architecture, and the ability to read and debug code to pinpoint the root cause of failures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capacity to adapt to the fast-paced, evolving nature of the Web3 landscape.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment across our Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bangalore offices, fostering strong team synergy.
