Role Overview :
As a Senior Data Scientist (GenAI), you will spearhead the design and deployment of sophisticated generative models to drive business value across our product suite. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to translate ambiguous requirements into high-performance machine learning solutions.
Your day-to-day will involve architecting LLM-based applications, optimizing RAG pipelines, and ensuring the seamless integration of AI models into production environments to enhance user experiences and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and deploy end-to-end Generative AI and LLM-based solutions to automate complex workflows and improve decision-making capabilities for our clients.
- Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks to ensure high accuracy and relevance in model responses for domain-specific applications.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Implement robust MLOps practices to monitor, maintain, and scale model performance in production, ensuring reliability and low latency.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines that support high-volume model training and real-time inference.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to technical design reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and algorithmic efficiency across the team.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and applying Deep Learning techniques using frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and production-grade model development.
- Proven ability to design and implement RAG architectures and vector database solutions to enhance the contextual awareness of AI systems.
- Extensive experience in MLOps and cloud computing environments, with the ability to manage the deployment and orchestration of models at scale.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive consensus on project direction.
- Strong analytical mindset with an educational background in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment across our offices in Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, or Bangalore, demonstrating high levels of autonomy and technical leadership.
