IT General Control Role

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (ITGC) professional to join our team in Hyderabad or Kochi. In this role, you will lead complex IT audit engagements, ensuring that organizational technology controls are robust, compliant, and aligned with global standards. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify control gaps, mitigate operational risks, and provide strategic recommendations that enhance the overall IT control environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of financial and operational systems for our prestigious client base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end ITGC and SOX compliance audits to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.

- Evaluate IT general controls across various platforms, including access management, change management, and data center operations, to minimize business risk.

- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to remediate identified control deficiencies and streamline audit processes.

- Provide expert guidance on IT audit methodologies and regulatory requirements to ensure consistent compliance across the organization.

- Manage large-scale audit engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality documentation that meets rigorous professional standards.

Required Skillset:

- Possess 8 to 17 years of extensive experience in IT audit, IT controls, and risk management, preferably within a Big 4 or top-tier consulting environment.

- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in CISA frameworks and SOX compliance requirements, with a proven ability to apply these in complex IT landscapes.

- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex technical findings into actionable business insights for senior management.

- Communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients, maintaining a professional demeanor while managing expectations and project timelines.

- Adapt seamlessly to the hybrid work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to drive results independently across the Hyderabad and Kochi locations.
