We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counsellor to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in academic advising or counseling, and will play a crucial role in guiding students through their educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic guidance and support to students in selecting courses and programs that align with their career goals.
• Assist students in understanding academic policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address academic concerns and challenges.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to ensure academic success.
• Organize workshops and seminars on study skills, time management, and career planning.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote student success initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and academic progress.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and faculty.
• Ability to analyze academic performance data and provide actionable insights.
• Familiarity with educational policies and student support services in India.
• Proficient in using academic advising software and tools for record-keeping and reporting.
• Empathy and active listening skills to understand student needs and concerns.
• Problem-solving skills to assist students in overcoming academic challenges.
