What You'll Be Building :

Core Backend Systems :

- Design and build scalable backend services

- Develop robust APIs and integrations

- Improve platform performance and reliability

- Build systems capable of supporting increasing transaction and order volumes

- Ensure maintainable, secure, and scalable architecture

Data & Platform Engineering :

- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases

- Improve query performance and system efficiency

- Support analytics, reporting, and event tracking initiatives

- Build scalable data models for business operations

Automation & Integrations :

- Integrate business-critical platforms and third-party systems

- Automate operational workflows

- Improve interoperability across internal systems

- Support future platform innovation and expansion

Engineering Excellence :

- Write clean, maintainable, production-grade code

- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions

- Contribute to testing, deployment, and code review practices

- Collaborate closely with Product, Growth, and Operations teams

- Continuously evaluate new technologies and engineering best practices

What We're Looking For :

Must Have :

- 6-7 years of software engineering experience

- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot

- Strong PostgreSQL and database design skills

- Experience building and scaling REST APIs

- Hands-on AWS experience

- Strong understanding of system design principles

- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

- Experience working on production systems

Good To Have :

- Startup experience

- HealthTech, E-commerce, SaaS, FinTech, or Consumer Internet experience

- Exposure to distributed systems and microservices

- Experience handling high-scale transactional systems

- Full Stack exposure

- Curiosity towards AI tools, LLMs, and modern developer productivity platforms
