Job Description :
We are seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers / Java Full Stack Developers with 37 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Angular/React, along with prior experience working on UPRR (Union Pacific Railroad) projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing scalable applications, enhancing existing systems, and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.
This includes requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies.
- Build and enhance Microservices-based applications using Spring Boot.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration across systems.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular or React.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application stability and performance.
- Follow coding standards, perform code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills:
- 3 to 7 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
- Front-end development experience using Angular or React.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Prior experience working on UPRR (Union Pacific Railroad) projects is mandatory.
Good to Have :
- Experience with Apache Kafka, JMS, or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to GraphQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and SonarQube.
- Exposure to Spring WebFlux.
