We are looking for a passionate Commis Chef. As the Commis Chef, you'll support the kitchen team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and efficiency in all kitchen operations.
. Assist in preparing and cooking menu items according to standard recipes and specifications
. Support section chefs in daily mise en place and kitchen operations
. Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are consistently maintained
. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen sections and workstations
. Assist in proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food products and ingredients
. Support service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations as required
. Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly
. Minimize food waste and support cost control initiatives
. Support pre-opening kitchen setup and operational readiness
. Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within hotels or restaurants
. Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
. Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn and develop
. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
. Good teamwork and communication skills
. Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
. Good communication skills in English
