Database Administrator (PostgreSQL & MS SQL)

6 8 years of hands-on DBA experience with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and MS
SQL Server.
Deep expertise in RDBMS concepts - query planning indexing strategies transactions
locking and concurrency.
Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex stored procedures functions triggers and
views.
Strong experience with performance tuning - identifying slow queries analyzing
execution plans and implementing fixes.
Hands-on experience with database maintenance operations: vacuuming index
rebuilds statistics management and purging.
Experience setting up and monitoring database jobs alerts and automated tasks.
Ability to work within a development team environment understanding application-
database interaction patterns.
Solid understanding of backup recovery and high availability concepts.
