Senior Performance Test Engineer (JMeter).

Job description:

Full time

Location - Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain JMeter test scripts for web apps and APIs.
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Analyze performance data using APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Collaborate with Dev, DevOps, and product teams; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide detailed performance reports and improvement recommendations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in performance testing with strong JMeter expertise.
• Experience with APM tools and scripting languages (Java, Python, JS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab).
• Knowledge of cloud environments, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Performance testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
• Domain experience in banking/telecom.
• Experience with high-availability and failover testing.

Role:

• Design, execute, and analyze performance/load tests using Apache JMeter to ensure application optimization, scalability, and reliability.
