Most design jobs ask you to execute someone else's vision. This one asks you to build the vision — and then execute it.

upliance.ai has built India's first AI cooking assistant. We're growing fast, our brand is evolving, and we need a designer who's ready to stop waiting for a brief and start writing them.

If you're currently doing strong design work but spending too much time on asset production and not enough on the decisions that shape how a brand looks and feels — this role is the step up you're looking for. You'll report directly to the Founders and own the visual identity of the company end-to-end.

What You'll Do :

a) Brand Direction

1. Own, maintain, and evolve the brand book — your decisions become the standard everyone else follows
2. Make the calls on visual identity: what we look like, why, and what trade-offs we're making at this stage of growth

b) Creative Execution

1. Design assets for social, performance marketing, email, and web — you understand why speed and polish need to co-exist
2. Develop original illustrations that enhance brand storytelling
3. Edit and composite images to brand standard

c) AI-Assisted Rapid Prototyping

1. Use AI tools (Freepik, Higgsfield, or similar) to move from idea to concept in hours, not days
2. Bring new tools and workflows to the team — you're excited by what's changing, not threatened by it

d) Cross-functional Partnership

1. Work directly with Growth and Product — understand their constraints and push back when the design needs to be better
2. Build templates and systems so the team can move fast without breaking brand

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience — you've shipped real work under real pressure
• Formal education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related design discipline
• Has worked on or contributed to a brand book at an early-stage or growth-stage company
• A strong, demonstrable aesthetic point of view — not just taste, but the ability to defend a design decision
• Expert in Photoshop and Illustrator; Figma proficiency required
• Actively uses AI tools for rapid concepting — you've already figured out how to use them to go faster
• Solid grasp of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Comfortable with trade-offs: knows when 'good enough and shipped' beats 'perfect and late'
