Application Product Specialist – Mammography & Digital Radiography (DR)

Job Summary

Medikabazaar is looking for an experienced Female Application Product Specialist for Mammography and Digital Radiography (DR) systems. The incumbent will be responsible for providing product application support, conducting clinical demonstrations, delivering customer training, and offering technical guidance to customers and end users.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Mammography and DR applications, strong knowledge of imaging workflows, and the ability to effectively train radiologists, clinicians, radiographers, and technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support and product demonstrations for Mammography and Digital Radiography (DR) systems.
• Conduct product presentations, customer training programs, and clinical application sessions for radiologists, clinicians, radiographers, and technicians.
• Support the Sales team during customer meetings, product evaluations, installations, and pre-sales discussions.
• Demonstrate product features, workflow optimization, image quality benefits, and clinical applications to end users.
• Coordinate with the Sales team for smooth transition from installation to successful handover of equipment to customers.
• Assist customers in troubleshooting application-related issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct site visits for pre-sales and post-sales demonstrations and ensure successful equipment demonstrations and user acceptance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centers, radiologists, breast imaging specialists, and technicians.
• Create and nurture Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who can support product awareness, adoption, and business growth.
• Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer requirements, competitor activities, and product enhancement opportunities.
• Support marketing initiatives including workshops, CMEs, conferences, product launches, and customer engagement programs.
• Stay updated on advancements in Mammography and Digital Radiography technologies, imaging protocols, and clinical applications.
• Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Service, and Marketing teams to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and provide ongoing application support.
• Travel extensively across assigned territories and support customers on a PAN India basis.

• Experience in a Radiology Application Specialist / Product Specialist role within the medical imaging industry.
• Hands-on experience with Mammography and Digital Radiography (DR) systems.
• Strong understanding of breast imaging, radiography workflows, imaging protocols, and clinical applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer training skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Service, Clinical, and Product teams.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively as per business requirements.

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Radiology, Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Imaging Sciences, or equivalent qualification.
• Experienced Application Technicians with hands-on expertise in Mammography and Digital Radiography (DR) systems will also be considered.
• Relevant certifications in Radiology Applications or Medical Imaging Technologies will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

• 5–10 years of experience in Radiology Applications or Product Specialist roles handling Mammography and Digital Radiography (DR) systems.
• Prior experience with leading OEMs, healthcare technology companies, or diagnostic imaging equipment providers will be preferred.
