Job description

Overview:

  • Join a dynamic, fast-growing team focused on healthcare data analytics.
  • Work with large healthcare data assets to understand, manipulate, and deliver insights.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Apply quantitative problem-solving and qualitative research to address questions in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including RWD domain experts, developers, analysts, and scientists.
  • Serve as a key client contact, maintaining strong relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide client training on DRG's proprietary RWD products and best practices for healthcare analysis.
  • Aggregate and process large, complex datasets to meet business requirements.
  • Identify data trends, anomalies, and perform root cause analysis to resolve data issues.
  • Support engineering teams with analytical guidance and contribute to prototyping and model building for new product development.
  • Design and implement standard data quality checks for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate complex business rules into scalable, efficient data processing workflows.

About You:

  • Education: Background in quantitative sciences, preferably with healthcare focus; postgraduate or graduate degree preferred.
  • Data Management: Minimum 2 years of experience; strong proficiency in SQL or similar programming languages.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Experience delivering data analysis, synthesizing recommendations, and presenting results to clients.
  • Healthcare Data Experience: Hands-on work with healthcare datasets such as insurance claims (diagnoses, procedures) or EHRs (free-text, lab data).

Key Responsibilities in the Role:

  • Understanding client requirements and delivering data accordingly.
  • Performing data validation.
  • Conducting feasibility checks for new projects.
  • Developing product features and enhancements.
  • Driving process improvements.
