Senior ServiceNow Developer - ITSM Module

Role Overview :

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will serve as a technical lead responsible for architecting and deploying complex ITSM solutions that drive enterprise-wide digital transformation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including process owners and business analysts, to translate intricate business requirements into scalable, high-performance ServiceNow applications. Your work will directly influence the maturity of the client's IT service management ecosystem, ensuring seamless automation, improved user experience, and robust system reliability across global operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end ITSM modules to streamline service delivery and incident management processes for large-scale enterprise clients.

- Develop custom applications and business logic using advanced JavaScript to extend platform capabilities beyond out-of-the-box functionality.

- Manage the configuration and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data integrity and accurate service mapping.

- Lead full-cycle ServiceNow implementations, overseeing everything from initial requirement gathering and technical design to final deployment and post-go-live support.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of technical excellence and platform stability.

- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and legacy applications to create a unified, automated IT environment.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 9 to 16 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with a deep understanding of the ITSM suite and platform architecture.

- Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, specifically for server-side and client-side scripting within the ServiceNow environment.

- Hold active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications, reflecting a commitment to platform best practices.

- Exhibit strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance for high-concurrency environments.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to manage project expectations and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

- Adapt seamlessly to hybrid or client-site work environments across Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, or Bangalore, maintaining high productivity in distributed team settings.

- Maintain a proactive approach to learning new platform releases and features to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of ServiceNow capabilities.
