Software Lead - Backend Applications

Our client us looking for a highly skilled Software Lead to design, develop, and lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance networking solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Golang, cloud-native technologies, and advanced networking concepts.

Candidates currently based in Dubai are preferred; or professionals from India who are willing to relocate to Dubai and possess valid UAE work authorization will also be considered.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend applications using Golang.

- Architect and build scalable, secure, and reliable distributed systems.

- Drive technical decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver networking and security-focused solutions.

- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across projects.

- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, networking, and infrastructure components.

- Support deployment and operations of applications in Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 8+ years of software development experience, including experience in technical leadership roles.

- Strong proficiency in Golang for backend development.

- Deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including OSPF, IPsec, VPNs, and TCP/IP.

- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.

- Knowledge of secure authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth2, and mTLS.

- Familiarity with SNMP traps and real-time network monitoring systems.

- Strong understanding of Linux kernel networking and system-level networking concepts.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
