Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire Cloud, PolicyCenter, and ClaimCenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Guidewire implementation, cloud deployment, system integrations, and client-facing engagements within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of designing, developing, and supporting Guidewire applications while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and global delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, customize, and support Guidewire applications.
- Work extensively on Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations.
- Develop and maintain Guidewire Cloud solutions ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Customize applications using GOSU, Guidewire Data Model, and Guidewire Framework.
- Build and support integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, web services, and cloud integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across Guidewire environments.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in a distributed delivery model.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to provide technical solutions and recommendations.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire implementations.
- 4+ years of experience working with Guidewire Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Mandatory Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Strong knowledge of GOSU Programming and Guidewire Data Model.
- Experience with Guidewire integrations and cloud-native architecture.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Web Services, and Integration Frameworks.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in global delivery and distributed teams.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Additional Guidewire Certifications.
- Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Domain.
- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and Cloud Integration Patterns.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale insurance platforms and digital transformation projects.
