Assistant Manager

Roles:

1. Develop checklist.
2. Plan, enforce & Strengthen the effective implementation of i.e, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, WCM & other new initiatives etc.
3. Participation & monitor of relevant department Safety Subcommittee meetings.
4. Advice & coordinate for the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
5. Inspection & checking quality of PPE for safe use and to force emphasize. 7) Effective positive motivation by directly interacting with HODs, Sec I/C, Engineers, Job Supervisors, Workmen & Contractors, Contractor s Supervisors and labor etc.
6. Generate & review the reports and analysis of accidents, to pin point area of attack.
7. Feedback to Management ,Functional Heads, HODs & all concerned with monitoring of implementation of the given points.
8. Safety inspection of plant & machineries on daily basis to identify unsafe act and Hazardous condition and making action plan to eliminate unsafe act and hazardous condition to achieve zero accident in work place.
9. Weekly safety audit and technical suggestion to rectify the abnormalities.
10. Implementation of Fire Safety Measures

Statutory Compliance:-

To monitor Compliance of statutory requirements pertaining to Safety rules & regulations to enhance the image of the unit & keep it safe.

1) Plan, Organize , arrange & conduct Safety committee meetings.

2) Plan, Arrange, Organize, coordinate & conduct inspections of Lifting Tools & Tackles and Pressure Vessels, Stability of Engineering constructions etc.

3) Arrange & coordinate departmental accident report & send to concern statutory authorities.

4) Plan, Organize & conduct Mock drill periodically for checking of On Site Emergency Plan (OSEP), Emergency Response Preparedness.

5) Plan, Arrange & Display Cautionary, Promotional & Instructional boards. etc.

6) Plan, Arrange, monitors & organizes Workmen Compensation deposit to concerned statutory authorities

7) Activities to implement the safety norms as per Bihar Factories Rule

and rules, Indian Electricity rules, etc.

8) Maintain the statutory records.

9) Liaison with the factories directorate.
