Branch Credit

Credit Assessment & Underwriting

• Evaluate loan applications for secured products (Loan Against Property, gold loans, vehicle loans, etc.) based on customer profile, income, collateral value, and creditworthiness.
• Analyze financial documents, bank statements, ITRs, property documents, and valuation/legal reports.
• Conduct personal discussions (PDs) with borrowers (where applicable) to assess repayment capability and intent.
  
  

Risk Management & Policy Adherence

• Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk norms.
• Identify and highlight potential risks or fraud indicators in applications.
• Maintain a healthy balance between risk control and business growth.
  
  

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with sales, legal, technical, and operations teams to ensure smooth processing and timely disbursement.
• Coordinate with legal and technical vendors for timely verification and reporting.
  
  

Portfolio Monitoring

• Track branch loan performance, delinquency trends, and early warning signals.
• Participate in monthly portfolio review meetings and recommend corrective actions.
  
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure complete and accurate documentation as per the loan product and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Maintain MIS and audit-ready records for credit decisions and disbursement files.
