DevOps Engineer - Azure Cloud

Qcentrio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience, proficiency with CI/CD tools, and a solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes. You will be instrumental in migrating applications to Azure, automating infrastructure, and ensuring seamless deployment pipelines, while collaborating effectively within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Runners.
• Cloud Migration: Organize kick-offs for and actively participate in migrations of applications from On-Prem to Azure Cloud, following standardized factory steps for migration.
• Infrastructure as Code: Utilize and have good knowledge of writing infrastructure as code using YAML, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Demonstrate good understanding and working knowledge of Docker & Containerized applications, along with good knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Apply good knowledge of Azure cloud frameworks and their implementation.
• Scripting & Automation: Leverage good knowledge on scripting technologies such as Bash, Python, and Groovy for automation tasks.
• Monitoring & Logging: Utilize experience with tools like Splunk, Log Analytics, App Insights, and App Dynamics (nice to have) for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Database Interaction: Possess working knowledge of databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Code Quality & Security: Have knowledge on Code analysis tools and SCA tools like Blackduck (nice to have).
• Development Support: Provide hands-on development experience in .NET/Java programming language.
• Version Control: Maintain proficiency with GitHub or GitLab for source code management.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, including onsite-offshore coordination.
• Agile Practices: Apply knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Required Skills

• Hands-on development experience in .NET/Java programming language.
• Proficiency with GitHub or GitLab.
• Proficiency with any CI/CD tool (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub runners) and developing pipelines.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Splunk & Helm charts.
• Good knowledge on writing YAML, Terraform, Ansible.
• Good knowledge on Azure Cloud frameworks & implementation.
• Good understanding of Docker & Containerized applications.
• Working knowledge of databases and PostgreSQL.
• Good knowledge on scripting technologies (Bash, Python, Groovy).
• Knowledge on Agile (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to follow standardized steps for migration factory.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge on Code analysis tools and SCA tool (Blackduck).
• Experience on Splunk, Log Analytics, App Insights, App Dynamics.
