ROLE:

As a Music Researcher, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user engagement within our app and delivering an unforgettable customer experience. Your responsibilities will include classifying songs based on various attributes, ensuring that our massive user base can effortlessly discover music that resonates with their preferences. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating engaging content related to these songs, providing our users with additional insights and information.

The ideal candidate for this position is a passionate music enthusiast with a deep understanding of artists and cultural trends within their specific music domain. Due to the nature of the role, fluency in multiple languages, both written and spoken, is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately classify music tracks across multiple attributes to improve song discoverability for users.
• Ensure all tags applied to music tracks are contextually relevant, accurate, and adhere to established guidelines.
• Craft captivating trivia content revolving around popular songs, artists, and albums.
• Maintain a high level of productivity in content creation and classification, while ensuring the accuracy and quality of all output.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously refine and improve workflows related to music metadata management and content creation.
• Monitor data sources to proactively identify music content that requires metadata enrichment or trivia development.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrates a profound passion for and extensive understanding of music and film encompassing diverse genres, historical eras, and cultural contexts, spanning both local and international perspectives.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of musical elements like genres, moods, situation, instrumentation, and classification systems relevant to the digital music industry.
• Exhibits strong internet research capabilities and familiarity with trends, artists, and developments within the digital music landscape.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree (in any field).
• Consistently exhibits unwavering dedication to precision, accuracy, and timely completion of assignments.
• Fluent and proficient in English and Tamil.
• Possesses a profound understanding and appreciation for the intricate cultural nuances and diverse musical traditions inherent in the designated languages.
• A highly motivated individual who takes pride in producing exceptional work and thrives in a dynamic environment.
