Remote Math & Reasoning Specialist

Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and verify diverse math and logic puzzles designed to enhance AI capabilities.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for mathematical accuracy and logical coherence.
• Provide detailed annotations and constructive critiques on AI responses.
• Identify and correct unclear or erroneous information to refine AI results.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain and enhance puzzle evaluation standards.
• Track and report performance metrics related to accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate actively in regular calibration meetings to standardize annotation practices.
• Document best practices and methodologies for puzzle assessment processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related analytical discipline.
• Experience in education, research, or roles emphasizing mathematics and logic.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate complex mathematical concepts.
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Expertise in fields such as algebra, discrete mathematics, calculus, probability theory, number theory, algorithms, logic, or game theory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related areas.
• Experience in creating educational materials or mathematical puzzles.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Prior experience in data annotation or evaluation of logical/mathematical content.
