Role: Banking Subject Matter Expert

Immediate Joiners Only

Location: Chennai

Work Mode: Work from Office

Experience Range: 10–15+ years

We are trusted by top financial institutions for delivering digital, functional, security, and performance testing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Domain expertise in banking operations, processes, and systems to support functional testing of applications.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to design, review, and validate test cases based on banking workflows.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in banking application functionality.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for banking domain knowledge across projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on banking processes and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in SIT and UAT cycles for banking applications and integration testing.
  • Support production issues, change requests, and enhancements post-go-live.
  • Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including business analysts, developers, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of testing cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:
  • B.E / B.Tech (any stream) OR MSc(IT) / MCA from a recognized university approved by AICTE.
  • Candidates with BSc/MSc/BCom/BA (other streams) will also be considered if they have 15+ years of banking experience.
  • Certifications:
  • CAIIB / JAIIB / DBF from IIBF.

Experience Criteria

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in functional testing of banking applications/systems.
  • OR 15+ years of experience in banking operations/domain expertise (testing training will be provided).

Desired Skills

  • Strong understanding of core banking processes (retail, corporate, payments, lending, compliance).
  • Ability to translate operational workflows into functional test scenarios.
