Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SaaS Development Engineer to lead the architecture design and implementation of our cloud-native multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) this role you will be responsible for building highly scalable resilient and secure application ecosystems. You will balance individual technical contribution with cross-functional leadership mentoring junior developers and driving engineering best practices across the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Core Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design: Architect and build robust high-performance multi-tenant SaaS applications utilizing modern cloud infrastructure and distributed microservices patterns.
  
• Feature Development: Write clean secure and maintainable code across the full stack to support rapid iteration of new product capabilities.
  
• System Scalability: Optimize system configurations APIs and database schemas to ensure maximum reliability speed and cost efficiency under high traffic volume.
  
• CI/CD & Automation: Design implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and continuous deployment pipelines to accelerate product delivery safely.
  
• Security & Compliance: Implement enterprise-grade data protection security controls encryption and role-based access management (RBAC).
  
• Code Quality & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews and provide technical guidance and coaching to junior and mid-level engineers.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers UX Designers and DevOps teams to translate product requirements into concrete engineering execution plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Proficiency

• Cloud Architecture: Deep experience with major cloud service providers (AWS Azure or GCP) focusing on serverless computing containers (Kubernetes/Docker) and managed infrastructure.
  
• SaaS Design Patterns: Proven experience designing multi-tenant databases zero-downtime deployment strategies and rate-limiting throttling mechanisms.
  
• Programming Core: Advanced proficiency in backend languages (e.g. Python Java or Go) alongside modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React Vue or Angular).
  
• Database Management: Expert knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL datastores (MongoDB/Redis) including complex query optimization.
  
• API Development: Expert skills in building and documenting secure RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
  

Experience & Education

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 58 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years specifically focused on cloud-native SaaS delivery models.
  
• Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science Software Engineering or a strictly related technical field.
  

Soft Skills & Mindset

• Problem Solving: Systematic approach to debugging complex distributed system outages and technical debts.
  
• Communication: Ability to clearly present technical concepts and system layouts to non-technical business stakeholders.
  
• Product Ownership: Self-directed mindset comfortable with executing abstract plans from ideation to production.
