Production Engineer

Job Title: Production Engineer

Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Location: Palsana, Surat

Experience Required: 2–4 Years

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily production schedules and work orders
• Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion of targets
• Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, and materials
• Supervise operators and technicians during production activities
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and process standards
• Resolve line-level issues and provide hands-on technical support
• Coordinate with maintenance and design teams for smooth workflow
• Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements
• Support quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain daily production reports and shift logs
• Record machine breakdowns, downtime, material consumption, rejection, rework, and wastage data

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, VMC, conventional machines)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Leadership and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving ability
