Job description

Job Title: Marine Project Coordinator / Marine Maintenance Engineer

Industry: Ship Repair / Shipbuilding / Marine Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams
Assist in preparing Project Work Packs and operational instructions
Support planning and execution of maintenance activities for vessels and marine equipment
Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and company policies
Coordinate and schedule project activities to meet operational deadlines
Prepare update and monitor project schedules and critical timelines
Track project progress costs and resource utilization
Evaluate and update project forecasts based on actual progress and expenses
Coordinate with internal departments contractors and management for smooth project execution
Maintain accurate project maintenance and operational documentation

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
  • 4 years of experience in ship repair shipbuilding marine maintenance or dry dock operations
  • Strong understanding of marine engineering operations and maintenance planning
  • Ability to manage project schedules timelines and operational activities
  • Good communication coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements


Required Skills:

4 years of experience in ship repair shipbuilding marine maintenance or dry dock operations Strong understanding of marine engineering operations and maintenance planning Ability to manage project schedules timelines and operational activities Good communication coordination and problem-solving skills Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements


Required Education:
