Job Title : DMC (Contract to Hire)

Company : RHI Magnesita (via Protiviti Initial Contract)

Location : Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad

Experience : 5+ Years

Employment Type : Contract - Initial 6 months with Protiviti (payroll)

Post 6 months, transition to RHI Magnesita permanent role based on performance

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced DMC with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing DMC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, where the candidate will be employed by Protiviti for the first 6 months, post which they will transition to RHI Magnesita's permanent payroll based on performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements for manufacturing operations and production processes

- Configure SAP DMC modules including :

1. Production Execution

2. Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM)

3. Shop Floor Control

- Design and implement production workflows, routings, and process orders

- Support business in digital transformation of shop floor processes

Technical Responsibilities :

- Configure and develop solutions in SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC)

- Integrate SAP DMC with :

1. SAP S/4HANA / ECC

2. MES / legacy shop floor systems

- Develop integrations using :

1. APIs (REST/OData)

2. SAP BTP services

3. SAP Integration Suite (CPI)

- Work with POD (Production Operator Dashboard) configurations

- Build custom extensions using SAP BTP (UI5, Node.js, CAP good to have)

Integration & Data Management :

- Configure data exchange between DMC and backend systems

- Ensure real-time updates for :

1. Production orders

2. Work centers

3. Materials

- Work on data models, master data, and transactional data synchronization

Monitoring & Optimization :

- Monitor production processes using analytics and dashboards

- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements

- Optimize system performance and response times

Support & Maintenance :

- Provide L2/L3 support for DMC applications

- Troubleshoot integration and system issues

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes

Testing & Documentation :

- Prepare functional and technical design documents

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support

- Maintain system documentation and knowledge base

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience :

- 3 to 10 years of SAP experience, with :

1. Hands-on experience in SAP DMC / SAP ME / SAP MII

2. Minimum 12 implementation or support projects in manufacturing domain

Technical Skills :

SAP DMC / Manufacturing :

- Strong knowledge of :

i. Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC)

ii. Production Execution & Shop Floor Integration

iii. Manufacturing processes and MES systems

SAP Integration :

- S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) integration

- SAP Integration Suite / CPI

- REST APIs, OData services

Development Skills :

- SAP BTP (Basics preferred)

- SAP UI5 / Fiori (good to have)

- JavaScript or Node.js (nice to have)

Functional Knowledge :

- Manufacturing processes :

1. Discrete / Process manufacturing

2. Production orders, routing, BOM

- Integration with SAP modules :

1. PP (Production Planning)

2. QM (Quality Management)

3. MM (Materials Management)

Certifications (Preferred) :

- SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC) certification

- SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) certification

- SAP BTP certification

Key Competencies :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Understanding of shop floor and manufacturing operations

- Good communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to work in Agile environments

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Industry 4.0 / IoT integration

- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

- Knowledge of edge computing / machine integration
