▷ Immediate Start : DevOps Engineer

Role Description

Join a large US-based enterprise software product company as a DevOps Engineer at their Hyderabad office, where you'll play a critical role in managing infrastructure as code, enabling seamless software development, and optimizing continuous integration and system administration processes on Linux systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE roles.
• Minimum of 3+ years of extensive, hands-on experience in deploying and managing a wide array of services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform is a must, demonstrating a deep ability to provision and manage complex GCP resources, especially network components.
• Deep and demonstrable expertise in GCP networking concepts, services, and best practices. This includes advanced knowledge of :
• VPC, Shared VPC, Subnets, IP allocation strategies (primary / secondary ranges)
• Firewall Rules, Network Tags, Service Accounts for network control
• Cloud Load Balancing (External, Internal, Global, Regional) and associated health checks
• Cloud DNS, Cloud NAT, Cloud Router, VPN, Cloud Interconnect
• Private Google Access, Private Service Connect
• Network troubleshooting tools and methodologies on GCP.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration platforms, specifically Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including its networking model.
• Proven track record in setting up and managing robust CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for both infrastructure and application deployments.
• Solid scripting skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, particularly Google Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver) and Cloud Logging, with specific experience in network metrics.
• Familiarity with database management concepts and experience with GCP database services (e.g., Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Firestore).
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with NodeJS & Typescript
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
