Job Title : Automation Systems Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support automation systems projects across the complete project lifecycle.
  
• Assist in automation system design architecture development and control system implementation.
  
• Develop automation philosophy control narratives HMI design and data flow structures.
  
• Support systems integration and ensure compliance with engineering and industry standards.
  
• Participate in instrumentation controls and IT change management processes.
  
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for automation and control systems.
  
• Support greenfield and brownfield project execution activities.
  
• Coordinate with Operations Engineering and Technical teams for project delivery and operational support.
  
• Utilize automation engineering tools inventory databases and system design applications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to automation systems.
  
• Improve automation engineering processes tools and operational efficiency initiatives.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety information risk and operational standards.

Requisites

• Bachelors degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of automation systems and control engineering concepts.
  
• Experience in automation system design implementation and troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of PLC configuration such as Allen-Bradley or Emerson PAC systems.
  
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and HMI platforms.
  
• Experience with systems integration control narratives and automation architectures.
  
• Understanding of oil & gas upstream or industrial facility operations.
  
• Experience in greenfield and brownfield project environments.
  
• Knowledge of change management processes for instrumentation and control systems.
  
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple deliverables.
  
• Good communication technical documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.
