Sourcing Purchasing Analyst

Position Title: Sourcing / Purchasing Analyst
Reports to: Principal Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Job Overview: This position is a key role in developing and then executing our strategies with responsibility for sourcing components in India. The sourcing focus is on for our. We want you to utilize our global leverage to regionally achieve the best value in cost quality reliability service and support. This role will co-ordinate cross functional relationships including product development/ engineering materials management local purchasing operations finance and aftermarket.
Responsibilities:

Should have Knowledge on Heavy/light Fabrication Hydraulics/electrical components BOP items Exposure to Indirect Purchasing (Like Facility Fabrication)

Utilize Terexs eleven step Strategic Sourcing process to reduce total cost of ownership and increase overall value

Lead and participates in cross-functional projects

Techno Commercial Background will be an added Advantage

Interface and act as the liaison between the businesses and suppliers

Maintain conduct consistent with company policy operating procedures accepted practices and applicable laws

Data Management Include RFQ PO Supplier Records Financial Data Quality Documents
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree / Diploma (Preferably Mechanical)
Minimum 3-5 years successful track record in sourcing or category management
Able to read technical drawings specifications and applications Will be Preferred

Strong procurement and strategic sourcing background with focus on Direct & Indirect Materials
Strong negotiation skills
Operates effectively even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear
Experience in writing project materials including business cases ROI justification documents project plans timelines supplier agreements and status reports
Is self-aware and gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty integrity and authenticity

Project management skills Preferred

Good communication and listening skills

Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines and changing priorities Travel:
Must be willing and able to travel locally and globally (up to25%; Could Increase during challenging Business environments).
