Job Summary:

Junior Open/AWS Cloud Engineer who is fluent in French to join our growing IT team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in cloud infrastructure application deployment and support within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will assist in managing AWS and open cloud resources supporting application deployment and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the monitoring and maintenance of cloud environments on AWS and open cloud platforms.
• Assist in deploying configuring and managing cloud-based applications and services.
• Support backup restore and disaster recovery activities within AWS and open cloud environments.
• Help implement security best practices including applying patches updates and managing certificates.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations procedures and incidents.
• Assist in handling IT requests related to application deployment logs and database refreshes.
• Support routine tasks such as patching updates and automation using scripting tools.
• Communicate effectively in French with internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Fluency in French (spoken and written); knowledge of English is a plus.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts especially AWS and open cloud environments.
• Familiarity with operating systems like Windows and Linux.
• Interest in learning automation tools and scripting languages (PowerShell Bash Python).
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Any AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) are advantageous.
