About the Role :
We are seeking a hands-on and visionary leader to serve as Vice President – Data Engineering & Architecture. This role will drive digital transformation through data, defining how it is structured, centralized, and leveraged to power analytics, automation, and AI across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end data engineering, modeling, and architecture efforts across the organization.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures, including warehouses and data lakes, supporting enterprise analytics and automation.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.
- Serve as a people leader, mentoring teams and aligning data strategy with business goals.
- Drive digital transformation by reviewing existing systems, recommending architectural improvements, and implementing automation for scalability and efficiency.
- Ensure data is centralized, governed, and optimized to enable timely, accurate insights across business functions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with automation, AI, and software development teams to maximize data impact.
- Establish robust data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.
What We’re Looking For :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or related fields.Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data warehouses and data lakes using AWS Redshift and / or SQL Server.Strong understanding of OLAP and OLTP systems, data modeling, and database optimization.Advanced proficiency in SQL and enterprise data integration practices.Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools for enterprise reporting and visualization.Familiarity with AI / ML data preparation, semantic data modeling, and natural language query enablement is a strong plus.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.Demonstrated success working collaboratively with automation, analytics, and software development teams.True leaders don’t just build data systems; they build clarity, confidence, and a smarter future.
