Position: Coffee R&D and Quality

Location: Verna, Goa

Department: Research & Development

Purpose of Position (Why the position exists):

To lead coffee research, blend development, roasting trials, and quality assurance activities to ensure consistent product quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining coffee profiles as per company and client requirements while ensuring compliance with quality standards, sensory benchmarks, and regulatory guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Development and matching of coffee blends as per company and client requirements
• Hands-on experience with sample (lab) roasters; strong understanding of roasting profiles and parameters
• Conduct coffee tasting (cupping) and sensorial analysis
• Perform regular coffee quality checks and maintain high product standards
• Ensure taste consistency across batches
• Maintain compliance with FSSAI guidelines and standards
• Maintain QC records, documentation, and company data
• Provide quick turnaround on sample preparation for customer approvals

Certifications (Preferred): Q-Grader / SCA Certification

Educational: Post Graduate Diploma in Coffee Quality Management - Coffee Board of India
