We are looking for a Program Manager to lead and elevate our software delivery capability. In this role, you will drive delivery strategy, collaborate with cross-functional engineering and QA teams, and champion structured, AI-assisted delivery approaches that accelerate outcomes. You will be the bridge between our clients and our technical delivery teams, bringing rigor, credibility, and a bias for solving hard problems. Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Strategy
- Own the delivery relationship with clients take project requirements and technical briefs from account managers and translate them into clear, executable delivery plans.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for US and EU clients communicating timelines, risks, and delivery status with confidence and transparency.
Program Design & Execution
- Plan and manage end-to-end software delivery across multiple concurrent programs, coordinating engineering, QA, design, and DevOps tracks.
- Define and maintain delivery frameworks (Agile/Scrum/Kanban) and enforce quality gates throughout the SDLC.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers and resolve them before they impact timelines.
Technology & Automation
- Expert-level use of AI-assisted project management tools, sprint automation, and delivery intelligence platforms to speed delivery while improving predictability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with technical leads, architects, QA, and delivery teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of software releases.
- Align stakeholders across engineering, product, and business functions on priorities, scope changes, and delivery commitments.
Project Management & Optimization
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of software delivery engagements from discovery, scoping, and sprint planning to release, retrospective, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain delivery dashboards and status reports that give leadership real-time visibility into program health.
Performance Analysis
- Create and maintain delivery metrics systems - velocity, cycle time, defect density, on-time delivery - and drive data-backed decisions to improve team performance.
- Run structured retrospectives and translate learnings into actionable process improvements.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a cross-functional software delivery team, setting clear goals, workflows, and accountability structures.
- Build a culture of ownership, psychological safety, and continuous learning within the delivery organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software delivery, project/program management, or engineering leadership roles.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability - a proven track record of diagnosing ambiguous technical and organizational challenges and engineering clear solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in a delivery context (e.g., AI-assisted estimation, automated testing, intelligent sprint planning).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - comfortable presenting to senior technical stakeholders and international clients across US and EU time zones.
- Strong analytical mindset - ability to interpret delivery metrics, draw actionable insights, and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Ownership mentality - someone who treats every program as their own and drives outcomes without being told twice.
- Proven credibility with clients and engineering teams - builds trust quickly, communicates with transparency, and consistently delivers on commitments.
- Highly structured, proactive, and organised work style - able to manage multiple priorities across concurrent programs without dropping the ball.
- A genuine thirst for continuous learning - curious about emerging delivery methodologies, engineering practices, and tooling.
Qualifications & Experience
- Deep familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban frameworks and their practical application at scale.
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Linear, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI), and project intelligence dashboards.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, or scripting is a strong advantage.
- Deep understanding of team dynamics, engineering culture, and a collaborative approach to delivery.
- PMP, PgMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is a plus.
- Any Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
