Job description
Skills Required
Lean Manufacturing, Cost Control, Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement production plans based on project timelines and priorities
- Prepare detailed production schedules for fabrication, assembly, and dispatch activities
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and execution teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to planned schedules
- Optimize resource utilization including manpower, machinery, and materials
- Ensure availability of raw materials and components as per production requirements
- Track progress against production targets and highlight delays or risks
- Prepare and update production reports, MIS, and progress dashboards
- Identify bottlenecks in fabrication processes and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with QAQC to ensure production meets quality standards
- Maintain proper documentation for work orders, material usage, and outputs
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Support cost control by minimizing wastage and improving efficiency
- Plan and monitor subcontracting or outsourcing activities if required
