About The Role

Yuno is building the payments infrastructure that powers commerce across borders. As the payments ecosystem evolves at breakneck speed, new rails, new wallets, new regulations, we need sharp, curious minds who can cut through the noise and surface what matters.

This internship puts you at the center of Yuno's global intelligence function. You will track developments across payment methods, providers, and markets worldwide, translating raw information into structured insights that shape product and partnership decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to a living knowledge base that the entire organization relies on.

This is not a passive role. You are expected to take ownership of research workstreams, maintain rigorous data quality, and bring genuine curiosity about how money moves around the world. Those who deliver and show initiative will find real opportunities to grow.

Your Contribution Will Be

  Track launches, regulatory changes, M&A activity, and technology shifts across payment networks, processors, gateways, and wallets worldwide, every week, without gaps.

  Conduct structured research on new payment methods, provider capabilities, market trends, and regulatory landscapes, using both desk research and direct outreach where needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Own the accuracy and completeness of Yuno's payments provider database, updating attributes such as supported countries, payment methods, fees, integration types, and certifications for hundreds of providers.

  Be the go-to resource for questions on payment methods and providers, synthesizing information into clear, usable summaries, briefings, and frameworks for internal stakeholders.

  Translate research into structured deliverables, competitive maps, provider scorecards, market entry briefs, or trend reports, that teams can act on immediately.

  Monitor and report on the global payments competitive landscape, flagging emerging players, consolidation trends, and shifts in market dynamics.

  Build institutional knowledge over time, ensuring Yuno maintains a defensible and continuously updated understanding of the global payments ecosystem.

  
  

Skills You Need

Minimum Qualifications

• 
  

  Genuine interest in the payments industry. You follow payments because you want to, not because it's on a resume; you should be able to speak knowledgeably about payment rails, wallets, and processors before day one.

  
  


• 
  

  Less than 1 year of experience overall. Final-year undergraduate student or fresher; you are early in your career and eager to build deep domain expertise fast.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong written and verbal English communication skills for engaging payment gateways, merchants, and internal stakeholders, research outputs are read by leadership, quality and accuracy are non-negotiable.

  
  


• 
  

  Research rigor. You know the difference between a claim and a verified fact; you are systematic, thorough, and comfortable building structured databases from scratch.

  
  


• 
  

  Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple research workstreams simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and stakeholder alignment.

  Comfortable operating in fast-paced, cross-timezone environments where priorities shift and proactive communication is critical.
